In this two-hour lecture, Miller executed a power point presentation on how Lynchburg College could leverage social media science and digital marketing strategies to raise brand awareness and drive student enrollment.

 
 

Virginia Private Colleges | Strategic Consultation + Education

The Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia (CICV) was founded in 1971 and currently operates as Virginia Private Colleges, a nonprofit, 501(c)(6) organization representing 28 accredited nonprofit independent colleges and universities in Virginia.

 

The Virginia Private Colleges organization works collaboratively in the areas of public policy, cost containment and professional development as well as providing support to its member institutions and their students in the following areas: Public Relations; Collaboration; Research; Government relations; Student Enrollment.

 

Jerry Miller, the president of VMV brands, was invited to be a keynote speaker at the Virginia Private Colleges summer conference, where he lectured on the power of social media and digital marketing.

 

In this 90-minute lecture, with the deans of admission from all of Virginia’s private colleges and universities in attendance, Miller executed a power point presentation on how colleges can leverage social media science and digital marketing strategies to raise brand awareness and drive student enrollment.

 
 

Virginia Institute of Autism | Strategic Partnership + Social Media

The Virginia Institute of Autism is dedicated to providing comprehensive, outcome-based education to people with autism; supporting families coping with the challenges that come with autism; and developing and supporting primary research, advocacy and training in the education of people with autism.

 

The Virginia Institute of Autism is a non-profit organization providing a day-school and other resources for families, educators and health professionals seeking services, training or information about autism and evidence based interventions. In addition to a year-round school for children ages two to twenty-one, VIA’s services include a 700-volume library, training workshops, internships for undergraduate and graduate students and teachers, customized training and consulting for schools and home-based programs for young children.

 

VMV brands executed a social media marketing campaign that raised immediate awareness for the Virginia Institute of Autism through a strategic partnership with Sustain, INC Clothing Boutique, an active VMV brands client.

 

This strategic partnership and social media marketing campaign positioned both the Virginia Institute of Autism and Sustain, INC Clothing Boutique in front of tens of thousands of people across the Virginia marketplace, translating into an uptick in fundraising for the VIA. Pepsi Cola of Virginia | New & Traditional Media Fusion

Our clients at Pepsi Cola Bottling of Virginia asked us to position their cache of brands in front of Gen X, Gen Y and Gen Z consumers. We conceived and executed an engaging weekly TV show that ran for 52 weeks and featured “product placement” within each broadcast, title sponsorship branding and the traditional 30-second commercial flights.

 

We then “pumped up” the traditional marketing efforts by leveraging new media, including Facebook branding, Facebook contests, Twitter branding, a Twitter “Question Bag” that was broadcasted on TV, Foursquare Check-Ins and online banner placements.

 

This multi-dimensional, digital and traditional marketing campaign was successful in raising brand awareness and growing Pepsi’s customer base.

Featuring a portfolio of four successful restaurants, our team was presented the opportunity of conceiving, creating and executing four unique websites built and designed on WordPress and four Facebook “Call to Action” pages for The Virginian Restaurant Company.

 

Follow a handful of meetings with the owner and general manager of The Virginian Restaurant Company, our team had a feel for the message, menu, ambiance, service and specialties each restaurant had to offer.

 

Here was the challenge: We had to build one template for all four restaurants while still maintaining the brand identity and unique qualities each had to offer.

 

We also conceived and executed four Facebook “Call to Action” or “Welcome Pages” for each restaurant. These Facebook “Call to Action” pages improved The Virginian Company’s social media presence.

A fine-dining institution, Sal’s Caffe Italia has successfully served Charlottesville, Va on the Downtown Mall for 26 years. Our team was presented the opportunity of invigorating the Sal’s Caffe Italia logo to accurately reflect the restaurant’s updated menu, wine list and ambiance.

Our team offered consultation through an in-person assessment with the Sal’s Caffe Italia executive team. Our design team then conceived, created and executed a new Sal’s Caffe Italia logo after six different rounds of design that included 20 unique logo mockups.

 

We created the new logo to enhance awareness for Sal’s Caffe Italia to help attract first-time customers, while also reminding the current customer base what Sal’s Caffe Italia has done consistently well for 26 years – serve delicious food at reasonable prices.

A brand new, high-end restaurant in Charlottesville, Va, Balkan Bistro & Bar approached our team and asked for help in raising awareness, attracting new customers and driving incremental revenue as quickly as possible.

 

Our team conceived, created and executed a strategic approach that leveraged social media, traditional media, guerrilla marketing and street team marketing to build a customer base for the Balkan Bistro & Bar.

 

Our team also encouraged the Balkan Bistro & Bar to tell their “story” as a means to increase their customer base. The owners of the Balkan Bistro & Bar began their voyage into the food sector in 2006 by selling pastries, pies and breads inspired from their Balkan Peninsula homeland at the Charlottesville Farmer’s Market. Eventually, as they started growing their brand and gaining a following, a bakery followed (Balkan Bakery on Water Street) in 2009. Then, in 2011, the Balkan Bistro & Bar was born.
