It was recently revealed that a Bulgarian blogger bought a list of over one million Facebook users’ IDs and email addresses… for $5.

 

After blogging about the purchase he was subsequently contacted by Facebook, who were understandably eager to not only retrieve the spreadsheet containing the info, but to find out where the leak came from. Apparently, the data has, since then, been deleted.

 

But, how did this happen? And, how long before it happens again?
